Workplace
Southwestern Bell Facilities Manager and asset manager then a Plant Manager in an electronics manufacturing firm but missed all the buildings stuff so went into the healthcare business as a Director of Engineering. Parents got sick so got into construction as a Consulting Project Manager to allow flex scheduling while providing home healthcare for Mom & Dad. Currently the Site Manager for large building project on local college projects.
Military
Officer Candidate School for the Air Force but was forced out on a medical discharge; Vietnam was winding down and they had over recruited for pilots so washed everyone out on which they could find something. My dad was a sergeant in the Air Force so I grew up with the desire to join but I wasn't allowed to stay.
