Lucas's Story
Life
I moved to Seattle and back to Eugene after college. In 1996, I moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in film. So far, I've had a degree of success including selling one script and being hired to write or re-write several others. But as anyone in LA will tell you, it's not a surprise that none of the scripts have yet been produced. But they all are in development and may one day be filmed. ks. The best part of following this dream of mine has been that I've been able to travel widely around the world due to the scripts. And while in Cannes in 2004, I met Britta, the love of my life. We met in France and she is German. Though we are geographically disadvantaged, we have a great relationship two years on and see each other as often as we can. It hasn't been predictable, but my life since school has been busy and fulfilling.
