Life
Met my Spouse
In college-- Claremont, CA. He was also from Phoenix (Jim Perry, class of 1967, Student Body President, Central High, was student at Claremont McKenna). I graduated with a degree in English Lit. from Pitzer College. Married, 1971, right after graduation from Pitzer. Jim got really sick, in hosp. 3 weeks. We lived in San Diego, Tucson, where we attended University of Arizona, (me, grad school, English, MA program) while husb worked on his MS Urban Planning. I transferred to Education, got teaching certificate in Secondary English. We moved back to Phoenix, heavily involved in food co-op movement: editor, Journal of the Southwest Federation of Coops editor; editor, Sunbow Food Coop newsletter; Board of Direct...Expand for more
ors, Sunbow. Freelance writer; also helped to start "Woman Rising" paper. Guide at AZ State Capitol, various jobs, family, part time work cardiology office and legal secretary, etc.
My Pets
A Possessive Pom, and a Border Collie mix. 5 cats, including Tigris, best roof ratter. All rescue animals. Have had many misc. pet rodents, rabbits, dogs and fish.
My Kids
Oldest daughter a lawyer in Chicago. Middle daughter Biology graduate, U of A, will teach Biology. Youngest attending Loyola Marymount University, out to save the world.
Husband is real estate, business and planning attorney.
I go to college classes, write letters to the Editor and try to work for the general enlightenment of humanity. Recently studied Jung and Spanish.
