Lucille's Story
Life
I was the only Philippina girl in the entire school who also spoke spanish. Let's communicate! (shulamite717.yiahoo.com)....
School
I had no crushes in school at all. Most of the guys were a bit on the "coo coo" side. I did, however, had very good guy friends. They were all very cool. I enjoyed the food fights in the cafeteria. Especially the one that came out on the news!!
I really enjoyed the Terrytown trip with the teachers, principals and classmates. We had a blast. Good stuff happened, as well as the ugly bad stuff. I have a videotape of some of the things we did over there.
All of my teachers, well...most...Expand for more
of them, totally inspired me. They were a source of moral and emotional support to me while I was in Brandeis: Ms. Griffin, Ms Jubiel, Mrs. Weisbord, Mr. Marquez (he was so much fun), and many others...I love them.
I think my high school years were a nightware...I mean, it was a bittersweet phase in my life. Coming from a foreign country to one of the craziest high schools in NY, it totally made me loose control. It was crazy. I'm thankful for the brief friendships I developed at the school and eternally thankful to the teachers who busted their butts to make sure I was headed for a bright future. Their work was not in vain.
