School
BA from the University of Oregon in 1961. MA in History from San Jose State in California. MED in Administration and Supervision in 1977 from the University of Guam. And then I came to a screaching halt. I became a genuine ABD in School Admin and Supervision at USC. I even finished Chapter 2 of the dissertation. So, I don't really mind. If I had finished, my life would have become even more complicated. I would have been expected to contribute to academic knowledge and the body of educational research. Horrors!
Workplace
After 6 years of teaching history in Santa Cruz...Expand for more
California and 2 years of management with Fred Meyer in Portland, I went to Guam with my family on a two year contract to teach HS History in 1971. I never left. My wife left to persue other interests and so did my son, but I am still here. I retired as the
Dean of Academic Education with the Guam Community College. I was also the Adult Education Director and the GED administrator for the Territory. I have double dipped the Government of Guam as a video productions instructor in a high school for several years, and now I just teach a few classes in Videography for the College.
