Lyle's Story
Life
I am retired from the Mpls PD as a Sgt. I had been on the SWAT team for 8 yrs as a sniper and the FBI swat team for 2 yrs, I also was in charge of the Mounted Patrol unit prior to being promoted to Sgt in 1999. I took a 1 yr leave of Absence to work for the UN in KOSOVO in 2000, where I met my future wife a German Police Officer while on vacation in Greece, who was also working in Kosovo. We married in 2001. I returned to the PD and after 9/11 I took an early retirement and became a Federal Air Marshal, where I was the head trainer...Expand for more

I resigned from the Air Marshal's in 2004 and went to work with Blackwater Security, where I was sent to Baghdad, I spent a total of 19 months in Baghdad and have seen alot of violence. I moved the family out to MT in the spring of 2006. I have 2 girls one is 5 yrs old and the 2nd is 3 yrs old.
I took 8 months off at this time, and am in the process of building a log home on 160 acres. I then returned to Blackwater and was sent to Kabul, Afghanistan where I am attached to the US Embassy as a sniper.
