Lyman's Story
I graduated from UC Berkeley in 1963, Masters in Science (physiology) from USC, 1965, Medical Degree, USC, 1969. Internship at University of Vermont, 1970 and Residency in OB/Gyn at USC/LA County Hospital 1970-1974. US Navy 1974-76, stationed at Lemoore Naval Air Station Hospital. Went into private practice in Hanford, Ca 1976-2002. Married in 1966 and 3 children. Now have 4 grandkids, 3 girls and 1 boy. We retired and moved to Henderson, Nv in late 2002 but I still return monthly to my old office in Hanford to assist in surgery and see some of my long time patients.

My hobies are snow skiing and sailing (still have a Condo at Huntington Lake/Sierra Summit Ski area). We live on a golf course in Henderson and I play several days a week.
Professionally, I have served in several leadership roles in American College of Ob Gyn and on several national committies. Also I have been a member of the Pacific Coast OB Gyn Society and have just been elected President and will preside over our meeting in September of 2009 to be held at the Hilton at Torry Pines.
I am looking forward to seeing many "old" friends at our 50th Hoover HS reunion.
