Lyn's Story
My husband and I are retired professionals. I was a Spanish teacher and he a chemical engineer.. We have two grown children and four grandchildren, two of whom are in college and two in high school. We are very proud of all that they have accomplished. We are still on Long Island, but enjoy foreign travel, especially to Spain. I'm planning my 25th trip there. h teacher in HHS gave me an excellent foundation , which was built upon by an outstanding professor at Adelphi, who encouraged me to study in Spain the summer after I graduated from college. There I made friends with native Spaniards & we have stayed in touch, visiting back & forth for the past 59 years. These friendships & my knowledge of Spanish have enriched my life immeasurably.
