She was a professional ice skater teaching in Houston, Austin and Dallas and then spent the rest of her working career in the field of law (Law Office of Steven R. Brown in San Marcos), Boyd & Associates (in Dallas Texas) where she spent 32 years before retiring. She now resides in Temple, Texas. Music Lyn likes includes Fleetwood Mac, Stevie Nicks, and too many numerous other bands to list. More about Lyn:"...Expand for more
I was a competitive ice skater and turned pro when I was 23. After teaching for several years, I then went to the other end of the spectrum and became a litigation paralegal. Over my 32 years in law, I worked in Houston, Austin, Dallas, Washington, DC, and San Marcos, Texas. Upon my retirement, I decided that living in a historic home would be fun. Very, very bad decision as no matter what you do to a house built just a decade after the Civil War, there is always something else that needs fixing every time you turn around! So, after 7 years of being the caretaker of that home, I sold it and moved to Temple, Texas, where I now reside.”
