Lynda's Story
After graduation I attend the JC in Hesperia until dad got shipped to Nam. We moved back to Denison Texas where I completed Grayson County JC. Upon dad's return we moved to Dallas, where I worked for First National Bank in Dallas for close on to 6 years. In '72 we had an obnoxious city bus driver one summer. Another passenger and I were going to write in on him, but figured we'd wait and see this played out... Long story short we started dating in Mid October, asked me to marry him in November and we were married in March 1973. No children but lots of dogs over the years. Bassett hounds for the first 20 and Catahoula Leopards these past 18. Used to crew hot air balloons at the two festivals in Plano and Mesquite TX over 6 years. eces in the Texas State Fair. Of course there were a lot of rejects, then 7 honorable mentions, 1 blue and 1 red ribbon. Retired from E-Systems/Raytheon in January of 2010. I was in computer services and supported the Business Applications Group. When you retire you close a door and open another so we moved to Arkansas. Al liked to fish and Texas lakes were drying up. We bought a small parcel with a creek and pond and lots of wild life. Must say Arkansas has been a learning experience. Lost Al last October after the better part of 41 years. Now I learning how to operate a tractor and other mechanical tools. What is it with men and tools that start with a pull cord? Once again I appear to be starting over. There will be challenges ahead and I'll cross those bridges when I get to them.
