Lynda's Story
Life
After high school I enlisted in the Air Force and stayed in for 8 years. During those 8 years I lived in San Antonio Texas (where I got married), Bitburg Germany (where I gave birth to my son 1n 1976 and also re-enlisted), Richmond Kentucky (where I got divorced), then Travis AFB at Vacaville, CA (where I finished my enlistment).
I then moved to Sunnyvale, CA and worked at Lockheed Missles & Space Co for 19 years. I re-married in 1989, and divorced again in 1997.
Enough of that.
I left Lockheed when I decided that I would rather be happy with a job that I would like, so I started working for a sewing store. I was teachin...Expand for more
g sewing and doing computer work (the two things I love doing the most). I moved to Las Vegas for a few years to do the same, and just returned in 2004. I am now running a sewing school (lotsa computer work), and teaching in Santa Rosa, CA. I like it here alot, and am happier being closer to my family.
My son is now 31 years old. I have 3 grandchildren, 2 boys and a girl.
I'm still single. After Mr. Re-bound and Mr. Wrong, I'll just wait to see what happens.
I spend my time working, working, working. I guess I'm married to my job. But I like it.
I would love to get in touch with my former classmates and Air Force friends.
