Lynda's Story
I am living in Virginia, near Washington DC. My working years were spent in teaching, cartography with Defense Mapping Agency, owned and operated a children's clothing store for several years. I graduated from SIU Edwardsville, IL. I have one son, graduate of Westminster College at Fulton MO, and one daughter a graduate of Mizzou at Columbia MO. I became a widow in 1995 and remarried in 1998. My husband, Robt J. Miller Jr., was graduated from Vanderbilt at Nashville TN and received his Masters in physics from George Washington Univ. here in the DC area. I am retired and enjoy participating in church music, reading, genealogy, teaching foreign students to speak English, playing with my 6 grandchildren. I inherited 4 stepchldren in my marriage to Bob. is younger son is at Emory Medical School in Atlanta in neurosurgery. One son is an architect with Michael Graves, one daughter computer guru, one daughter a counsellor in Seattle. Together we have 14 grandchildren and lots of good family times. Bob still takes the train into Washington where he is working on computer progras for the new efficient cars. He is a very active person and we live in an over 55 gated community and have made lots of friends here. We have a Bible study on Monday evenings with some of our friends. Bob is often on the links. We belong to Chevy Chase Club in Chevy Chase MD and often meet there with family for a good dinner and lots of chatter. Hope you are all doing well and enjoying life.
