Lynda's Story

"I'm taking a little trip". she said. Barefoot through damp grass... Drexel University...a lot of design...a lot of art...tiptoe... slush slush...married to Polish sunshine... mommy to the sweetest boy...trip trap trip trap...interior designers don't have fun...invoices...other people's worlds...She thinks, "Hey, how did I come to this?...I dream myself a thousand times around the world But I can't get out of this place"...mommy to the pink cloud girlie...maybe a catalogue will make her happy..."Quiet Times & Celebrations"..."I'll design stationery and baby angels...Pretty."... dark clouds...she rests her head...Isn't it strange how we move our lives for another day like skipping a beat...What if a great wave should wash us all away?...It's Dave and songs soaring...fresh air...old stories locked inside come spinning with red and blue and grey and rainbow...a puzzle...a...Expand for more
wish...a rhyme...I can't believe that we would lie in our graves wondering if we had spent our living days well..."Let me be you and you be me...I'll use paint and paper and wax and transfer and beads"...I'll dream Rauschenberg and Pollack and Toulouse-Lautrec and Stella...the dreams inside her head were of color made from music... she had found that which let her breathe... Haha - so what do I mean by this? I mean I spent lots of years looking for what it was that made my heart sing. I finally found it at a rather advanced age!! I am an artist...no real surprise there! "What do you paint?", you ask. Here I hesitate but say "Visit my website LJMSArt.com...art inspired by the music of dave matthews." It has been more fun than I would have ever dreamed and I have a book coming out at the end of May. Plus I became a grandma ("Mambo") this year. Happy days indeed!
