Lindy's Story

Life After being raised in Alaska (til 1978), and attending Dimond HS there, my family relocated to Grand Jct, CO in the middle of my junior yr. I now live in Cortez, CO, with my family, Vernon ('79 CHS) ,Taylor and Casey. I enjoy volleyball, bowling, handcrafts and raising my boys. Because of Casey's multiple disabilities, I am a Domestic Goddess !!! lol and I do not work for pay. I volunteer for our local United Way and other non-profits that are associated with UW. I also substitute in elementary levels as a special needs paraprofessional when needed. My degrees from Mesa College collect dust now but Life has taught me so much more than those books ever did! I have but only a few vivid memories of my high school days as I was only at CHS for 1 1/2 years. I will never forget the champagne served at my bedroom window on New Year's Eve when my folks wouldn't let me out... you guys know who you are!...Expand for more
! That was so cool! I often think of my classmates and where they are now..hope to run into some of you soon! I think my senior year was my fave...made friends, including Mike (Pineapple), Don and Terry...you guys made me feel important! AND my first roommate when I went to Mesa...Lisa (Ward) Frisch...still my best friend today. 'Ever get down in the Four Corners area, e-mail beforehand and let me know! I DJ 2-3 nights a week with my own PA and karaoke setup here in Cortez and have picked up quite a few wedding 'gigs' as well...still love to play music! NOTE,,,,,if you found me and you don't have a picture to go with your proifle photo..I prob wont respond!...sorry....the mind forgets names but noit faces! LOL
