Lynette's Story
Hi. I was an art and math major at SAHS. Also much involved in modern dance. My closest friends were Linda, Bobbie, Debbie and Diana. One of the sweet things in my life is that 4 of those 5 are still close friends who try to meet once a year and keep in touch through out the year. I married at 18, had a great marriage for 12 years. Have 2 talented children and now 5 great grandchildren. I cont my education to an MBA and psychological certifications. tinue to be a life long student. In retirement I teach painting and sell my art. I've been fortunate to have a terrific loving family. My brother, Leonard still lives in so. Calif. My kids live in CO and RI while I enjoy FL. I came out as a lesbian at 33 and my oldest son, Scout, is transgender. My other son, Paul Jr, is a pilot, artist and computer architect. So we each follow our own inclinations but love and accept each other. Which is what life is all about in my book. SAHS and my friends and teachers there were a sound beginning to my education and life. I am grateful. Lynette Wood
