Lynn's Story
Life
I got married in 1974 and had my first child, a boy. My second son was born in 1977 and my twin girls came along in 1978. I was divorced from my first husband in 1984.
I remarried in 1987. I still live in Delaware, as do 3 of my children.
I worked for the Division of Child Support Enforcement as a secretary from 1986-1991. In 1991 I was hired by New Castle County. I first worked at the Kirkwood Highway Library and in 1996 transfered to the library technical services department where I am still working.
I have 7 grandchildren- a grandson, Logan, born 7/22/03, a granddaughter, Alexa Grace, born 8/6/03 and another grandson, Garrett, born 4/9/06, Olivia, born 10/23/06 (Alexa's little sister)and William born 6/24/08 (Logan's little brother), a grandson, Evan born September 1, 2009 ...Expand for more
and a Granddaughter, Gianna, born January 22, 2010. I also have 2 step-grandaughters.
I have been practicing tai chi for about 10 years. In 2006, I traveled to China for 18 days from August 21 to September 7 with my tai chi instructor and several classmates. We visited Beijing, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Suzhou, Xi'an, the Shaolin Temple and the Wudang mountains. In Xi'an we participated in a tai chi competition. We traveled around the country by train. A very interesting experience.
In November 2006, I made my first visit to Las Vegas, where my husband and I visited Hoover Dam, Red Rock Canyon and drove to Baker, California and had lunch.
2007 has been somewhat boring compared to last year. Vacationed in Lewes for a week. We stayed in Lewes in 2008 & 09, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17...
