Lynn's Story
Life
I was born in Pittsburgh, Pa. Went to Hillcrest Elementary 1-6 grades, then BP Jr. Hi 7 & 8th grades and then BPHS for 3 years 9th, 10th and 11th grades. (left in 1968)before moving to Birmigham Alabama. I moved the summer of my senior year and remain in Birmingham, Alabama. I have two grown children. My daughter, Lisa, has 2 boys and just moved to Pensacola, Fla. My son, Paul, is a staff sargent in the USAF and is stationed at Hurlbert Field, Fla.--near Ft. Walton Beach. (tough base to be assigned too!!)He is also married and they are expecting their first child in May--a boy! I am an R.N.and Manager of the " Eye Center" which consists of 2 depatments-admitting-recovery and O.R. We do eye surgery, pain blocks, podiatry, port-a-ca...Expand for more
ths for people with cancer, some cosmetic laser suregery, etc. This is part of a ambulatory outpatient surgery center. I have worked there 13 years and probably will retire from there! We have two floors of OR rooms so we stay very busy! My husband is a retired school teacher and we will have been married 15 years in March. My parents are sill living and live across the street and down two houses so I can keep an "eye" on them. They remain in great health at this time. I am very blessed. It would be great to hear from someone in the class if interested in communicating.
I have since retired from nursing and I'm also a widow now. My husband died in November 2013. I travel with friends and a trip is planned in February 2024 for Israel!
