Lynn's Story
I don't know about you, but I have wonderful memories of NHS! Looking back on it, I'd have to say we lived in a simpler time, although back in the late 60's/early 70's, most people (the older generation) thought we were going to "you-know-where" in a hand basket! Vietnam, the civil rights movement, riots, sit-ins, war protests, the drug culture, the sexual revolution (remember "make love, not war"!?), etc. What a difference 30+ YEARS makes! ld have thought that the Cold War would be replaced with a war on terrorism!? (That really hits home for me as one of my sons is in the military and spent 2007 in Iraq!)
Those days at NHS (for the most part!) were care-free and innocent. Maybe it's getting older that makes me more reflective and nostalgic, but I'd love to know what you think, where you are, what you're doing now and just re-connect and talk about "old times" with "old" friends! :-)
