Lynn's Story

Here it is, 2013. My little dog, Saki, is now six years old. We have traveled from CA to AZ a number of times. He's a great riding partner. Living in Sun City now, since June 2012. New house. I love it here. Joined a bunco group that meets once a month. Lots of fun. The group is mixed ages, and always interesting. No new trips to share with you at this time, but I know there will be some in the future.... Hope you like my stories. Hope to hear about some of your adventures as well. Life Hi there, to those of you who read Bio's like I do! By now you've tired of reading the same old thing so here's an update~ Arizona is the land of opportunities. I have seen the Indian ruins in Canyon de Chellly. That's located in the upper North Eastern corner of the state, know as "Four Corners". It's something everyone should go see! There is absolutly nothing in the small town of Chinle but roaming animals and two motels. One grocery store and a gas station. BUT, the Jeep tour we took was worth the 5 hour drive to get there. On the way we stopped at the famous Hubbell Trading Post. The prices were just right! The Grand Canyon is a sight to behold as well! You have to experience it in person to "feel" the vastness and the spiritualness it imparts. There is nothing ...Expand for more
prettier than the desert in BLOOM, either. Fall is spectacular! But then the daily sunsets are always the best! No two are the same..If you come to Arizona you must see The Kartchner Cavern's. They are 3 hours or so, South of Phoenix, the other side of Tucson. Amazing! This is just a sampling! Check out my photo place to see where else I've been~ I'll try to keep this up-dated. Up-date November 2007..This June spent a week in a condo at Pajaro Dunes on the Monterey Bay, West of Watsonville, with my daughter and a gal friend of mine. It was so nice to share stories, drink and eat, walk the beach and collect shells we all probably have since thrown out~~The weather was perfect. I'll add a few photos from that trip. My gal friend rode back to AZ with me. Our destination here was Bisbee, an old Copper mining town near the border of Mexico. Quaint, good food, lots of "junk" stores to look around in and a wonderful museum telling about Copper Mining years ago. We left there and stayed at a neat Motel in Tucson before driving back to Phoenix. I got myself a new puppy in July, after all the trips. He is a Shih-Tzu named Saki, and is now 7 months old! All little boy and very willfull and (trys to be) independant. I'll post a pic of him too~ That's it for now!
