Lynn's Story

Wow! Who ever thought we'd be in our 50s and still feel so young?? :) I'm living in Bryan now. I moved here last year (2008). It's a good location for me; close to my folks, who still live in Madisonville, and my kids who live in the Centerville area, Houston, and Waxahachie. Speaking of kids, I have 4. My daughter, Angie, and her husband live in Waxahachie and have 2 children, Maddie and Nathan. Maddie is 3 and Nathan will be a year old at the end of April. My oldest son lives outside of Centerville with his wife and their 2 sons, Kendall (almost 11) and Kaden (almost 6). Wes also has a daughter, Lyndie who was 8 on Christmas day. My next son, Matt, lives in Houston and just got engaged this weekend. We're looking at an April wedding in...Expand for more
2010. My youngest son, Jamie, lives in Flynn and has one daughter, Katelynn, who is 3. They have all grown to be responsible, loving adults and I'm so proud of all of them. Did I mention that I have the prettiest grandchildren around? :) I was a high school science teacher for 10 years, then had some health problems that precluded teaching. I'm doing great now and have been for many years, but never went back to the classroom. I work for a company now that does research for various groups. I'm currently on a project for the US Department of Education called the Nation's Report Card. I love project work because I like to see an end in sight! And the end of this on is a little over 2 weeks away. THANK GOODNESS! So, what have you been up to?
