Lynn's Story
Long story short...school, modeling, kids, work, more school....single after 30 yrs but finally met an incredible man. It's true what they say about falling in love with your best friend....there's nothing like it. Due to some unfortunate circumstances we are no longer a "couple" but remain the best of friends with nothing but love & respect for one another.
I have two daughters & one son...we are dysfunctional enough to keep life from being boring. My girls have given me TEN grandchildren...four boys, six girls. Since West High I have been a model, secretary, personal assistant, Tupperware lady, account mgr for contract mgmt co., dept head in nursing/retirement facility, held EMT cert for 8 yrs, ofc/logistics mgr for a steel mfr & now cust service acct mgr a freight company that moves govt., commercial, & haz loads. I am a survivor of four types of cancer & by the grace of God I still have most of my parts!!! work it took to get them. I know that the only one who knows what will happen in my life is God & my heart has to be open for Him to give the direction I need to go. When I fall, He will help me up to try again....every time. Those times that I fell, the lessons I learned.. are how He taught me what I needed to know to become the person I am today. I've learned I am someone of value all by myself. Having a partner/spouse/significant other enhances you, lifts you up & celebrates you...they don't make you, they just help you shine brighter......
Update; I needed to include a new love of my life....met him 3 yrs ago, Jan 30, 2016. He is so very handsome, silly, loving, and the prettiest brown eyes. His name is Riot - yep - Riot, and he truly is one. I have to thank my granddaughter for bringing him into my life. She is his mommy. So, now my name is Big Nana....being a great grandmother!! Riot is a stinker, but a quite handsome, adorable little guy and I love him bigger than the sky, farther than the moon & more than there are stars.
