I moved from Burbank in 1994 to a Northwest Chicago suburb to meet my biological father who passed away 3 years later. I decided to stay and got divorced in 1999. I have three children... Jon, Jeremy and Amy. I have four natural grandchildren plus three more that came with my oldest son's marriage. I am also a great grandmother of four. Sadly, my children are spread out from Burbank to Phoenix to Virginia Beach so I don't see them or my grandchildren very much. My oldest grandson just got married. My mind reels sometimes at the passage of time and how much has changed. The cycle of life goes on. I met a wonderful man in 2005 and married him Feb 17, 2008. He has two grown sons and two grandchildren. He has 5 more years until retirement so unfortunately, it looks like we'll be in the Chicago area for a few more years. I am currently not working anymore as I have been placed on disability. The good thing about that is that I don't have to go out and drive in the winter snow storms.
