Life
Since graduation - I attended USCD, but left after 2 yrs. I joined the Navy and served almost 10 yrs, was stationed in Adak, Alaska, Honolulu, Hawaii and San Diego, CA - and left as a Military Dog Handler at 32nd St Naval Station, San Diego. After leaving the Navy, I worked a year with the San Diego Sheriff's Dept as a 911 dispatcher before getting picked up by US Customs, now known as Customs & Border Protection. ver 20 years now and had the opportunity to work in Bremerhaven, Germany for CBP - for 3 yrs. I just returned in 2006 and am now a Program Manager for Recruiting / San Diego Field Office.
I met my husband (also in the Navy) while stationed in Hawaii and got married in Oct 1991. When we came back from Germany, we bought a home in Jamul - which was one of of the areas hit by the Harris Fires. We were very lucky and when our home was saved by the fire fighters.
