Lynn's Story
Life
I relocated to California in December of 1968 and received a degree in Registered Nursing in June of 1978. Shortly after graduation I met my husband, Brian Sherman, and was married on January 9, 1977. We have one son, Matt, who lives with his wife, Kelli, in San Diego.
I worked as a professional actor, which was a life long dream, appearing on "The Young and the Restless" (in the summer of the O.J. Simpson trial) and "Days of our Lives" (in the summer of 1998.) Ironically, I played a nurse in both soaps. I also enjoyed being a part of "NSYNC'S" music video, "N The Mix," portraying a homeless woman for their song: "Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays."
I am currently the head of the Drama ministry at Calvary Chapel,in the town where I live. I no longer work as a nurse but find myself very busy with producing, directing and acting in church productions as well as growing a successful home based business in Mary Kay.
I am looking forward to reading the bios of former classmates and hope you will each be a part of this site.
It would be fun to catch up with those people who participated in Mr. Kirscher's "Wintersong," and fellow vocalists in the All City Choir.
One last thing: is there a class reunion scheduled for this year (2004?) If anyone knows, please email me. I would love to be a part of it.
Workplace

orked as a Registered Nurse in Obsetrics; Labor and Delivery, Renal Dialysis, Psychiatric (alcohol-drug rehab.,) Recovery Room, One Day Surgery, office nursing in Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, and a recovery room nurse at a local Plastic Surgery Center. I taught Medical Assisting at Watterson College for 5 years and then did a complete change career wise. I always wanted to be an actress (as long as I can remember) and studied acting at two local colleges, Tony Barr's Film Actors Workshop in L.A., T.V.I. in L.A. and scene studies with Andrew Prine (from the series "X") and Heather Lowe. I auditioned for t.v., film, and commercials when after 5 years of hitting the pavement I landed my first professional job on "The Young and the Restless." Guess what role I played? Really..guess. Okay, I played a nurse. I was contracted for a month, during the O.J. Simpson trial, and finally got a role as a nurse. I was type cast!!! And, if that isn't funny, 5 years later I was cast as a nurse on "Days of Our Lives." That was too funny. And, yes, both roles were speaking parts. I did a Christmas music video with N Sync. I played a homeless woman sitting at a table set with a large Christmas meal. Anyway, I decided that I wasn't cut out for Hollywood and retired to write, produce, direct and appear in church productions, and local theatre. It is so much more satisfying. So, that's it.
