Life After graduation I continued my education at San Diego State but dropped out shortly after getting married. Both were really dumb moves. (Obviously I divorced my first husband.) Shortly thereafter I met my husband, Dave, at the San Diego State Newman Center. We've been married for over 34 years. (At least I got it right the second time.) Dave and I have three children, Jennifer, Thomas, and Amy. Jennifer has given us five grandchilden with another on the way. I was a stay-at-home mom while my children were growing up. When the oldest reached Middle School, I started going to Grossmont Community College in the evenings. I ended up earning two Associate Degrees. I've always regretted leaving college when I was younger and have tried to instill that in my kids. It's really hard to go back.
