Lynne's Story

Life: I have been a widow from my first husband since 1998. He was the father of my two beautiful children, a son Maziyar (now 25) and a daughter Layla (now 23). I have been separated from my second husband since 2010. I live with a sister, a brother and my son in Moreno Valley, CA. Edit: my son is now 32 and still lives with me in Las Vegas now and my daughter is 30 and lives in Austin, Texas. My brother still lives with me and my sister passed away in April 2023. College I graduated from Westwood College in May/2007 with a Bachelors Degree in Animation/Graphic Design. I did not get a job in my field of study so I took a housekeeping job ...Expand for more
from 2009 to 2014. Then I worked at Ross Stores from 2014 to 2016. I now work at Amazon right near where I live which is very convenient. The hours are long but it's only 4 days a week with 3 days off. I like it, it's a pretty cool company to work for. Edit: I transferred to another Amazon facility in Las Vegas in 2019. We keep playing the lottery in hopes of winning big to pay off my student loans, quit my job and move to the beach to our dream house! Edit: We cannot play the lottery in Vegas but my student loans have been discharged in 3/2023 and I retired in Nov.2022 and now I do deliveries for Ubereats while searching for a part time job.
