Lynol's Story
Still working in the Information Technology world, back on Elmendorf AFB, Alaska. Have a boy (40) and girl (44) from my first and biggest mistake and two grandsons (13 & 9)in Alabama with my son. Have two younger girls (25 & 23)with the best wife, fishing partner, friend ever. One is a real braniac and the other is a challenge. Without challenges what would we do with ourselves. We have a house full of critters, take them everywhere with us. Kathleen's African Grey Parrot Maggie has been to Wyoming, California, and Utah. Not to mention every fishing trip we go on either in the camper or on the boat. She did go swiming one time, I don't think she liked it much.
Have had to have some repair work done this year to many years of softball, football, etc. Had bone spurs removed from left shoulder with a rotator cuff repair in January, followed by bone spur removal from right ankle in April. That slowed me down considerable, critches were not nice to my shoulder. Everything healing nicely own't get in the way of spring black bear hunting and the start of fishing season.

single wedding for one specific couple. Our youngest has honored me by asking me to walk her down the isle as well as perform the ceremony. She is working on her masters at John Hopkins University and will have that compelete this spring in Bio-Chem.
Would like to hear from everyone and am willing to put anyone up who wants to visit Alaska in a more reasonable manner with this economy. Kathleen and I remodeled one of our downstairs bedrooms and it turned out quite nice for visitors. We can let anyone use one of our vehicles for sightseeing during the week and we also have a small motorhome as well as boats and fishing tackle for use. That is where I fit in the best even if Kathleen outfishes me regularly.
Kathleen and I were married 4 days after 9/11. Our first full summer we didn't miss a weekend fishing somewhere from Memorial day through Labor day. Snooks can vouch for me Wyoming is nice and the grand tetons are great but nothing can hold a candle to Alaska where you enter the food chain in the middle. Come see us stay for a week and you may well be hooked just liek us. The summers are shorter and the winters are longer, but what I like about it is neither are as cold or as hot as Wyoming.
