Lynsi Paige's Story
Life
Since graduation, I have lived in several places. Starting out in beautiful Santa Ana, CA I stayed with my grandparents for a little R&R. Then I moved on to Tucson, AZ to be with my best friend since 2nd grade. I worked as a Birthday Party Coordinator for a bowling alley, and gained more experience doing what I love: working with kids. After a year in Tucson, I moved back home to Port Orchard, WA for health reasons. Living with my mother and step father for 3 months reminded me why I had left in the first place :-)! So, I quickly did a little searching and found the perfect job...a live in nanny for three kids (ages 8mos., 4yrs and 6 yrs.) I worked for that family for 8 glorious months and decided I needed to continue on with my higher education so I could work where my heart truly desires to. After so long of not being around children, I was getting depressed so I took a live-in nanny position in Snohomish, WA for 5 months. Carried on after I moved down to Orange County, CA to be with my grandparents; I became a nanny to two adorable middle eastern infants and a toddler. Next I moved on to bigger and better things... Europe!!! I started with a family in the Netherlands, and relocated with them to Milan, Italy. I care for triplet (soon to be) 7 year olds. I've enjoyed traveling and soaking up as much culture as I could.
School

Starting school at Sing Lum Elementary in Bakersfield,CA; I then moved up to WA in the 4th grade. I've also been to Church Creek Elementary (Stanwood, WA), and Seaview Heights Elementary (Edmonds, WA). Then upgraded to Meadowdale Middle school (Edmonds, WA), and continued to Marcus Whitman JR. High (Port Orchard, WA). I then moved on to high school; starting at Central Kitsap (Silverdale, WA), then transferred over to Mount Si High (North Bend, WA). Throughout a couple of the high school years, I also attended Bellevue Community College, and took classes through BYU.
I am still pursuing my college education through Bellevue Community College.
If I could go back to high school or any school, I think I would have applied myself more and gotten involved in more activities, and programs, instead of spending all my time in the library.
By far, my best teachers would have to be Ms. Loya (Marcus Whitman), Mrs. Redman (Sing Lum), and well, the other one isn't exactly a teacher, but more of a mentor: Mrs. Greer (Mount Si). If either of you read this, thank you for all you have done for me.
Workplace
Well, I have worked a lot of places and many of you know me for the interesting jobs I've had. The most beneficial job I've had so far has been as an Au pair in Europe for triplet 5 year olds. Not only did I get to use my childcare expertise, but a little travel on the side made it all the more enjoyable!
