M's Story
I left Arizona a few months after graduation. Enlisted in the USAF and spent four years in northern Maine. My job title was "Nuclear Weapons Technician". Upon completion of my enlistment, I ended up in the Seattle, Washington area and, eventually went to work for the Dept. of the Navy. For almost 14 years, I was involved in the research, development, testing and evaluation of weapon systems related to anti-submarine warfare. Many exciting times!
After the Navy Dept., I traveled and worked on a variety of defense related projects. Eventually, finding myself back in the private sector. Currently, I'm involved in reliability engineering...Expand for more
and predictive technologies. A more peaceful endeavor.
Eventually, I married a wonderful lady and currently reside somewhere east of the Mississippi. No kids but, we have three dogs. And, a house that is currently being remodeled. And best of all, a wonderful life.
We do travel to Arizona on occasion. And, drive through Avondale/Goodyear. Usually on the way to have lunch at Raul and Theresa's. And yes, pass by the old campus. Good memories!
To me, life is like driving a car and looking in the rear-view mirror. Some things I see in the mirror make me smile, some things, make me cringe. Fortunate for me, I smile more than cringe.
