Merle Ward:  

I always wanted to be a pilot when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a great idea. As it turns out, they were right. I like to play racquetball - it really lowers the stress level! My hero was always and is still my dad. I always wished I could be like him. He was excellent at everything he did. I have lived in almost every US state - I traveled a lot with the US Air Force. I've been to quite a few countries overseas as well. The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is Eddie Wiser, because he was one of the guys I hung out with. I haven't heard from him since graduation.. My obsessions include racquetball, my black lab, and of course - my girlfriend! My biggest surprise would be living to be this age! It's been a great "ride"! If I could improve my home, I'd remodel the kitchen and add on a garage. My dream home would be a place in the country with 5 acres of land. (UPDATE: I FINALLY GOT MY FIVE ACRES W/ A RIVER RUNNING THROUGH IT! My neighbors include: wild turkey, squirrels, deer, and mountain lions - all great neighbors!
