Mabel's Story
Life
I married classmate Ken Clymer in January 1961, and we are still married. We have a daughter is a physician with Mayo of Scottsdale and a son who is an engineer and manager with a large utility in the southeast. Only one grandchild, who is now 12 years old and attends a private school in the south.
I mostly was a homemaker until I became a stockbroker in Colorado in 1977. I left that to return to school, and then went into public accounting, and eventually had my own tax and accounting practice, which I sold in 2002. I am now retired, sort of. Still keep current on licensing and memberships, and am presently president of the So. AZ Chapter of Enrolled Agents, and am on the AZ State Board of Enrolled Agents.
Volunteering fills my time too. I volunteer at the moms and babies area of a local hospital, and am a volunteer on a property owners board in Flagstaff AZ, which gives me great excuses for going to Flagstaff a lot.

orked for IBM since 1964 except for one year. He keeps promising to retire soon. He is in engineering.
We plan to continue to travel more and more during retirement years, health and finances permitting.
Would love to hear from old classmates.
School
After graduating from IHS in June 1959, I went to El Camino two weeks later to take a physics class. I left El Camino in January 1961 to get married and move to Illinois. After Ken finished his 4 years in the USAF, I went back to El Camino and finally received my associates in June 1965.
Then I kept preparing to enroll in various universities, but we kept moving. Finally in 1980, when my daughter started the Univ of AZ, I went back too, getting the BSBA in 1982. With my wonderful timing, I graduated in time for 11% unemployment in Tucson, so was accepted in the MBA program. After completing half of that, my new job took too much time away from classes, so I never completed it.
