Mac's Story

Life I left ottumwa High in 1951 to join the Navy! Served in the Navy for 21 years, retiring as a Chief Petty Officer in 1972. Then tought (vocational) High School level Air Conditioning and Refrigeration. Have 6 children with my first wife, Pat Helmick. We divorced in 1980. ield service engineer, then several others Co's till 1992 when I started Probe-Lease Co. We lease Geoprobe subsurface environmental equipment and tooling. Married Virgie in 1993 and between us have 21 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren! My hobby is restoring vintage British motorcycles. We travel quite a bit attending trade shows and other business events, and Navy ship reunions.
