Mack's Story
Life
Married for 61 years to Sandy Jo Stan (Rogers '56). We have 5 sons and 1 daughter. They have presented us with 8 grandsons and 8 granddaughters. We also have 3 greatgranddaughters and 4 greatgrand sons. We also have 5 other young kids that think we are their grandparents.. We live in Kennewick, WA. I retired from Battelle Northwest in 1990 after about 30 years (25 fulltime and 5 as a consultant). Spend most of my time either playing golf, babysitting, following grandkids baseball, basketball, track, and golf activities. e sold at a big loss). I recieved a BA in accounting from Eastern Washington University with a second major in economics. Moved to the Tri Cities after graduating from EWU, and started to work for a CPA firm. Joined Battelle in 1965 and had a lot of fun and interesting jobs for a long time. Battelle is a large research and development organization, and manages and operates the PACIFIC NORTHWEST NATIONAL LABORTORY for the Department of Energy. Overall life has been good to me, and my biggest complaint is my inability to master the golf game. Like to hear from old friends and classmates.
