I went to Loara High during it's very first two years. I played the violin in the orchestra and the Bell Lyre in the marching band. Unfortunately my mother moved me to Belmont Shores the summer before my Senior year and I had to graduate from Wilson High in Long Beach with total strangers. (I had gone to Loara Elementary and Trident and Brookhurst Jr High schools in Anaheim with the same kids for 8 years before that), Anyway, I got married to Guy Kinney and had 2 children, divorced and eventually moved to Oregon where I met my current husband of 36 years. He moved us back to Mission Viejo, California for 5 years, then Boston for 5, San Francisco for 6 and finally back to the Northwest where we've lived at Brown's Point for 16 years. I love the "Emerald City" - Seattle - and Washington State is beautiful but I will always be a California girl at heart. I have missed being invited to Loara's reunions because of not graduating from there. So that's why you haven't seen me. I am ordering the year book so I can see all of your faces again!
