Hugo's Story
Life
After trying to find my niche I moved to No. Cal to attend Humboldt State. I earned a BS in Fisheries then moved to Corpus Christi, TX to attend Texas A&M University. Received a MSc in Mariculture and published two papers.
Work: University of Texas Marine Science Institute as a researcher in phytoplankton ecology and isotope ecology.

orking on a PhD at U of New Mexico. Dissertation includes; Spatial and temporal distribution of diatoms in the Middle Rio Grande, Trophic interactions in a restored floodplain, Los Lunas, New Mexico, and The feeding preference of the Federally endangered Rio Grande silvery minnow (Hybognathus amarus). Finally finished my PhD. Working as a researcher for the Forest Service, Rocky Mountain Research Station. Who knows what lies next.
