Kathleen's Story

At the last reunion, my husband was quite ill and, after 19 mos in hospital, rehab and nursing homes, he passed. It was a difficult time and his passing was a blessing. I have since moved to Roseville and I'm in the beginnings of a jewelry business. Hope to have it on line soon. For those of you who remember my parents, they are doing well, hardly look any different than they did 20 years ago. They moved to a condo on Atherton and Bellflower about 10 years ago and Dad decided he should take over the planting and care of the flowers because he didn't like the way they looked. He still works PT as Head Marshall at Recreation Golf Course. I never did have ...Expand for more
children and that's ok. Somehow, the little ones on the block find their way to my place when I'm gardening in the front. They love to help. I'm glad the hectic life has slowed down so I can really take in the things I enjoy doing. In doors, of course, the jewelry, knitting, sewing, reading, etc. Outdoors, I don't ski or run rapids anymore but, I have some great neighbors who are teaching me the fine art of RVing. Thoroughly enjoying it and, the spontaneous gathering for wine at one of the neighbors homes/patios. So, life is moving along fine and I'm looking forward to another 30+ years. I have too much to do to leave. God bless you all, Kathy Magee
