Hi, I graduated from WHS in the summer of 1966. Went on to Santa Monica JC in the fall for 1 year. I decided to start work early and get my own place, so I started work at Hughes Aircraft Company in 1967. Got laid off in 1968 and went back to Santa Monica JC for another year. I went back to Hughes in 1968 and worked in various depts....Secretary in the Production Control Dept., then moved on to Purchasing and later back to Production Control as a Spec. II. I got married to my husband, Bernie and in 1979, my son, Michael, was born. I continued to work for Hughes until 1982. My daughter was born in February 1982. After 15 years at Hughes, I decided to open a daycare center in my home. I worked out of my home for 8 years as a Daycare Provider in the city of Westchester and also later in El Segundo for 10 more years.
