Jennie's Story
Hey too many requests so here it is.......... I am a mom I had two daughters who are awesome Teena is 23 and Pammee is 21 they are my world and my life. I'm blessed to have 2 step daughters. I finished raising Amber 18 whom never made me gain weight and her delivery through high school did cause labor pains lol. I also love Ashley who is almost 15 and we truly are like one family. My hubby is the best ever he worships the ground I walk on....Patrick treats me like a princess.
I am a certified firefighter and trained with the U.S. Army, This was very difficult for me being so tiny but with God, hard work and my family support I made it. Truly my biggest accomplishment in life. I had wanted to be a firefighter since I was 10 when my older brother joined the fire service. I made top responder and Rookie of the year my first year in the fire service. I have learned life is too short as this career has made me realize you can check out any time and leave this world. I have learned I am a lot stronger then I ever knew both physical and mental. I try never to sweat the small stuff. I'm happy, content and living on the water as my Long Island roots live on. Everything works out in life if you never lose hope and faith. I am spontaneous ...Expand for more
and yet routine and family are my life. I have seen things I never knew I could handle and I have prayed on fire calls as others are injured or lost everything they have owned. The worst is when a tragic situation results in death. I am proud to be a republican as I believe in pro life. Abortion should never be used as a form of birth control or take one life to cure another. Each life is important and everyone deserves a chance to live. I try to be a good, kind person and will help a total stranger. Hence being a firefighter is rewarding to give and not receive. A cup of cold water after a call feels like heaven and I am thankful. I do get scared when things get dangerous and I guess that is part of the trill. In every situation I pray for God to help me achieve the goal of serving and protecting others. I believe if we all help each other together we can make a difference in our neighbors life. I never follow the crowd as I believe we all know right and wrong and we must follow our conscience. I am blessed to have had such a wonderful life. The tough times only made me strong and has built my character to being the person I am today. Thanks for asking, as I have had more beauty come out of the ashes in my life. Big Hugs, Jennie
