Life
Hi, Friends. I am currently married to my highschool sweetheart, Steve Harrist (CLHS Class of 1978; he took me to our prom!), and we just celebrated our 18th anniversary. We have two great children--Duncan, age 10, and Caroline age 5--who keep us smiling and on our toes. I am a professor in the Department of Family Relations and Child Development at Oklahoma State University, where Steve also teaches (he is a clinical psychologist). are enjoying living in a small college town, but make it back to Austin many times a year, where most of our siblings live. Steve was diagnosed with lymphoma this September and is receiving treatment at MD Anderson; it's very scary but we are hopeful that he will be cured. I had such a wonderful time at both of the class reunions, and look forward to having contact with some of you who I didn't see through this web site. I would offer an invitation to visit "when you're passing through", but nobody ever comes through Oklahoma! --Mandy
