Marc's Story
Life
After graduation, I attended University of Texas where I met my wife to be, Ann Bates. We married in 1976 and are as much in love today as we were then. After college I joined the public accounting firm of Peat, Marwick & Mitchell for 3 years, and in 1978 went to work as the CFO of North American Mortgage Company in Houston. I have 3 incredible children: Matt, age 20 who is in his second year at Notre Dame on a baseball scholarship (as a Pitcher); Adam, age 18 who is currently a senior at Bellaire High School (plays baseball too); and Kirby our princess, age 15 1/2 who is a sophomore at Bellaire where she plays volleyball. Ann and I are very active in our kids school and sports activities which gives us a great deal of excitement and joy. We're members of Second Baptist Church in Houston.
