Marc's Story
In HS I use to be called the closet nerd, dork, blah, blah, blah. Phewy on those who did such a thing. Being shunned so often caused me to get out of that persona by educating myself. I studied massage therapy, chiropractic techniques, reflexology, baking, cooking, and business. While others expected me to become a chef as was my Uncle and my Mother....both whom I took after in mastering the art of cooking, I realized I wanted something different.
My interests faded for all that when I was out of work for 9 months and needed $$$$ to start paying bills. I went to work for a painting company (90-95), I was a natural at that. After leaving the painting company I worked for Pacific Disposal Inc as a Route Driver picking up recycle and refuse for Thurston County. 3-6 tons of recycle 5 days a week.(95-99) Can you get tired of that? I did. In 1997 I started my own company, Personal ...Expand for more
Touch Painting(97-99). I needed the extra money and use to like painting. Married in March 1997.
In 1999 I packed up everything, and moved to Texas. Within the month I was employed by Texas Instruments Inc and have been here since. (July 1999 to present). Wife left to 'find herself' in Aug 2001, divorced Jan. 2002, remarried July 2003 and now with 5 children from 2nd wife. Bought a house in Wylie in an old farming community turning big city.
I love to play drums, make music, listen to music, teach my children new things about music. I enjoy the outdoors and working in my garden. I have been remodeling our 'new' home that was built in 2003, since my wife wanted changes we couldn't afford then.
I enjoy building and working with wood and crafts and watching funny movies with my kids.
