Marc's Story
Hey, A quick history;
After HS I went to OIT (OTI back then) graduated in '72. with a Bachelors in Electronics Engineering.
Worked in CA for 2 years then back to Portland where I worked for Tektronix for over 18 years.
Since then In Focus, Sarif, Delta Products, Flir Systems, Planar, Pixelworks, Marshall with several consulting jobs mixed in. Get around, get around I get around ya.
I have 3 daughters and 7 grandchildren, 2 boys and 5 girls. I actually have 2 granddaughters who graduated from HS ...Expand for more
this year, 1 from Cleveland, top Volleyball athlete in the PIL.
Just retired this spring, well from main line work. I'm still keeping my fingers in the electronics industry.
Kinda lived the good life if I must say. In fact we're still livin' the good life. I did have a bout with cancer in 2002, but licked it. I don't know if anyone remembers, but I used to love dancing, so now my wife and I do amateur competition dancing in Ballroom and Country Western. It is great fun and keeps me (us) in shape.
