Marcel's Story
Life
Sorry to have missed you all at the 20th reunion; I was traveling extensively throughout the US and Canada at the time. Hopefully I'll be there for the 25th and 30th.
Here is a little bio to let you know what I have done for the past twenty years. Upon graduating from NDSS I went to BCIT where I took Aircraft Structures and I also pursued my commercial pilotÂs license. I received a position with a defense contractor in Edmonton but I hated my job. Soon after my move to Alberta I met the woman that would be my wife; Ingrid. We've been married for sixteen years and have five beautiful daughters; Brittany (born 1992), Petra (1995), Emma (1997), Kirklyn (2000) and Ahava (2003). In 1992 I quit my position to attended university where I graduated in 1995 with a BA in Religion from Taylor University College...Expand for more
and in 2005 with a M.Div. from Taylor Seminary. I entered ministry in 1995 and worked with youth till 1998 in Spruce Grove, Alberta. In 1998 I became the Senior Pastor of First Baptist Church of Leduc, Alberta; a position I held till 2004. I am currently (2006-2007) attending Spanish language school in Edinburg, Texas in anticipation of a move to Mexico City in the spring of 2007 to commence ministry in the worldÂs largest city. We will continue to spend time in Alberta when we can and we do visit the lower mainland at least twice a year. In addition to ministry my wife and I own and manage a 960 acre farm and ranch in Rumsey, Alberta.
Don't be a stranger call or write me any time.
For it is by grace you have been saved, through faithÂand this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God.
