50th Reunion
We have started work on the Class of '63's 50th Reunion. The dates will be April 12th and 13th, 2013. The committee is just getting organized and we welcome anyone that would like to help. Our biggest concern is that we are still missing contact information on a very large number of classmates. I am responsible for the class roster, so please contact me with any names (nickname, maiden & married), spouse's name, address, phone numbers (home, cell & work), Skype name and email information (most important!) that you might have for you and other classmates. If you would like a copy of our class roster contact me via email perrymarch at charter dot ne and once I have posted your information, I will provide you a copy.
My wife Mary and I own Hillcrest Manor B&B on Court Street where we have 4 amazing rooms to rent out (hillcrestmanorbedandbreakfast.com). We also specialized in Weddings, Receptions and other Private Events. 334-264-8253. For my full time "day job" I am the Program Director for General Studies at South University Montgomery (334-395-8829 - fperry at southuniversity dot edu), where I also teach all of the math courses.
Family: I have a son (Army LTC with 4 children) at Fort Hood, Texas and a daughter (Doctor of Vet. Medicine with 2 children) in Irvin, CA. I have two step sons living together in Oxford, Mississippi where the oldest is the Executive Chef for all of the sports venues at Ole Miss. He also has 2 daughters.
History: After Lanier I went to West Point (USMA) followed by a 20 year career in the Amy (see below). I retired from Army in 1987 and became the Chief Operating Officer (COO) for JM Ledzinske & Company - a well know Financial Planning Firm in Carmel, California. After great success in Carmel, I moved to Beaufort, SC to be the COO for Hand & Tanner, another Financial Planning firm. In 1993 I went back to Carmel for 1 year to help Mr. Ledzinski setup Templeton Porfolio Advisory. In 1994, after being gone 31 years...Expand for more
, I moved back to Montgomery - which "grew up nicely" while I was gone. Since being back in Montgomery, I continued with my own Financial Planning company - F. Marchman Perry and Associates - until 2004, worked at Regions Mortgage and regions Financial Corp, and at South University.
