Marci's Story
Life
I have been married almost 30 years to '76 Savanna High graduate W. Bronson Pittman Jr. We have three children: Lauren (22), Kirstyn (20), and Bronson III (18).
Since I moved away from Anaheim in 1981, I've lived in Calgary-Alberta, Canada, Walnut Creek-CA, Chico-CA, Worland-Wyoming, Arbuckle-CA, and now Chico-CA, for a second time. A 1989 music alumni of Chico State, I teach private piano lessons and classes and summer camps & classes through our city recreation dept and local charter school. I'm a vocalist with my church worship team and play piano or keyboard in the band.
My husband, Bronson, is the Chaplain/Social Services Director for Butte Home Health and Hospice in Chico.
My husband's father, Bill Pittman Sr., became a Vice Principal at Magnolia in 1978 until he retired in 1985.
My sister, Lauri Pittman (Magnolia Class of '78) married one of my husband's younger brothers, Paul Pittman (Savanna Class of '78). She and Paul and their two sons, Jacob & Alex, live in Oroville, California, just a half hour away from Chico.
My sister, Kristi Darwick (Magnolia Class of '74) lives in Walnut, not far from Anaheim, with her husband, Dennis, and travels regular...Expand for more

My brother, Paul Alan Miller (Magnolia Class of '83), worked for Southern California Edison for 22+ years and passed away from colorectal cancer Feb. 25, 2009 and leaves behind his two children, Nicholas and Samuel.

School
Mr. Frohling was my favorite teacher who helped me make it through my math classes because he was always willing to help. He knew just how to explain complicated processes so that I'd understand and be able to use what he showed me. What an inspiring man he was! He had the warmest smile and most helpful attitude!
I loved singing in the Magnolia choirs as well and have fond memories of Holiday In Music at the Anaheim Convention Center.
