Marci's Story
I guess I was always a litle different. I did not have a group. I like to think I had friends in all of the groups and types at school. I am still that sort of person. I like to rescue the underdog and help others. I guess that shows in my work. I have been a teacher and a social worker. Ususally for special needs, behavioral handicapped, or low income families. I am now teaching birth to 3 year old children in an Early Intervention program for high risk children.
My activities include working with high school students in the marching band and pep band( as a parent volunteer), plus I work with the school musical set crew. I have been in boy scouting for 13 plus years ( because of my sons) and am getting to get out when my youngest gets his Eagle Scout this year.
I am divorceed from a former older classmate. I have two sons one 21 and the other 17..
Photography is my main hobby but I spend a lot of time working on my older home. Not always by choice.

oon.
My hobby is more gardening and sewing these days. Also love to read.
Volunteer with the local Humane Society. I have rescue dogs and cat of my own. Still volunteer with the local High School to repair and alter orchestra uniforms. Love being around the kids.
Would like to travel to Alaska soon. Maybe on a cruise to Alaska then go to the wilds.
Well 2020 now. Same type of.work with special needs birth to three year olds. Mostly in the homes now. Looking at retirement possible in Jan 2021. I love the kids and families but getting a little harder on my body these days.
I have a few things I'd really like to do after I retire. Some of it is volunteer work and some of it is traveling. I still haven't made it to Alaska which I would really love to do. My kids are adults one lives backup in Michigan one lives here in Ohio and help me care for my 88 year old father his grandfather. With all the quarantine business going on right now and all the big changes in this community unfortunately a community of Prisons which doesn't help our situation, I'm not sure how that's going to shape my future.
