Marcia's Story
Wow! Almost 40 years ago we were young and had are lves ahead of us. Now I look back at my life, my choices and how everything has turned out. I was in the hippie seen for a while. Eventually I went to school and become an Licensed Vocational Nurse. I moved to San Diego, Calif. where I met and married Lynn (a native Californian). We moved to his home town, Madera, to be near his family. We have three sons, three grandchildren (another one in Feb., 09). I went back to college and graduated with a A.A. degree in nursing. y Room for 1 yr., 5 years in Hospice care, a year with Alzhimers patients. My last job was working in a Womans Prison, where I retired just shy of 6 years. Overall God has blessed my life. My Angles have watched over me and my loved ones. I have a wonderful husband of 28 years, Lynn. He is the Supervisor for Family Court in Madera County, California. All our children are finding their own ways. Charles is the oldest and is fixing up old houses. Andrew and Christopher are twins. Andrew has joined the Air Force and will be reporting for basic soon. Christopher is undecided in his life long goals.
