Marcia's Story
Registered Nurse working currently in a Hospital setting in Informatics since 1999. That's the Electronic Health Records that's been the buzz in the media. Patient records converting from paper to computerized. Increases patient safety so I'm in.
Have two beautiful grown daughters and have been married for 28 years. One daughter was a Florida State Champion Horsewoman and worked as a Stunt Rider at Arabian Nights Dinner Theatre and the other is in the Army and has served three tours in Iraq. I'm very happy with my life and while there have been bumps and curves in the road, I've arrived at a good place. Four Grandbabies that I never, ever see enough!
Didn't work in the Cosmetology field I was trained in at Tampa Bay Tech High School for very long. I did become Vice President of the National Hairdressors Association for a term though. I always go in full throttle.

I was in the Gym business for a while. Managed a Fitness Center, worked as a Personal Trainer for a number of years.
I make unique wall hangings with Quilts using computer technology. Not your Granny's Bedspreads! I love, love, love roadtrips! Have an RV and do a lot of short trips throughout the year. If I'm not at work then I'm on vacation. I don't consider it appropriate to think of fun times occurring for just 1 or 2 weeks out of the year. My time is too valuable for that. Therefore when I'm not at work, I'm looking for fun things to do.
I play Native American Flutes and belong to a Flute Circle. I play at Pow Wows in Florida and at any campsite I happen to be at. Best time recently was playing for a crowd on Fort Myers Beach at Sunset. The people seemed to really enjoy it. And when people enjoy music delivered through my flutes, it gives me great pleasure.
