Marcia's Story

Life I and my husband Mike currently live in Highland Wi, about 45 miles west of Madison. We both work at Landsend, me being part time there and I also work part time at the post office delivering mail when I'm needed in my Jeep Wrangler. Mike has one son who lives in Iowa and I have two children, My son lives in Grand Haven Michigan and is an electrical engineer there, My daughter lives in Minneapolis, Mn and works for Mercy hospital as a surgery scheduler. They have blessed me with 6 grandchildren, three boys and three girls ranging in ages from 4months to 10 years, and ofcourse they are the light of my life, everyone should have them! We have a few hobbies, one is going on oldies cruises with our Mustang, Mike rebuilt a 65 Mustang Fastback and it looked great with the white body and blue stripes, but we did recently sell it and then turned around and bought a Mustang convertible which he is now fixing up. ever grow up I guess. We also like to do some work working, just made a couple headboards for my daughter and covered with fabric so they look real nice, much cheaper than buying them. Also we like bike riding and Mike plans on going on Iowas Ragbri some year, not me though, its way too long to ride across Iowa. We like going to Lanesboro Mn, they have some wonderful trails and scienery. Well since we are getting close to that retirement age, we may be moving south, possibly Tennessee, Georgia or Florida. Right now my son is contemplating a job offer in Georgia so that would be nice to be near him and his family. I am getting very tired of the cold winters and want to be outside more and I am not into "winter activities". I am glad to report my health has been good, but I also try and keep it that way with my basement filled with equipment to exercise on. My torture chamber as it is.
