Marcia's Story
Hello Jags! After graduation I went to North Texas State University and received my bachelors and masters degrees in speech-language pathology. I got married in 1989 and immediately moved to New Jersey/ New York --my husband was working on Wall Street. We lived there for 10 years. In 2000 we moved to the Bay Area of California and I really love it here. (Of course, nothing beats Texas!) I have been married for 20 years and I have one son who is 13 years old. he school golf team and he plays soccer, percussion in the school band and keyboard. He keeps me plenty busy. I have kept up with my speech-language pathology license, but am an at home mom. I enjoy volunteering at my son's school, and helping out at church. We are members of Jack & Jill, and I am an AKA. Yes, I am still playing the flute! My husband is an investment manager. We come to Austin to see our folks at Christmas and in the summer. It's always good to come home.
